We wanted to reach out and let you know about some changes happening at TAIKAI Labs. As you may know, last year we acquired Bepro Network Labs and its products: Bepro Network and dappKit (formerly Bepro.JS) and we’ve been working hard to integrate these products into our offerings.
As part of this process, we’ve realized that TAIKAI and Bepro Network are actually two distinct products with different focus areas and client targets.
Rather than trying to merge these products, we’ve decided to embrace this diversity and modularity and allow each product to stand on its own. This is a positive development, as it allows us to expand our reach and better serve a wider range of clients for each product.
To better reflect our vision and mission of driving innovation and advancing the web3 ecosystem, we’ve decided to rebrand TAIKAI Labs to LayerX.
The goal of this rebrand is to provide clarity and simplicity for our clients and stakeholders and to maintain our focus on delivering specific added value for each of our targets. We’ll be introducing some new branding and a refreshed website soon.
First, let’s talk about the TAIKAI Platform. TAIKAI is a web3 platform that we’ve developed specifically for hosting hackathons. It’s designed to make it easy for organizations to run online hackathons and to help developers connect with each other and with potential employers or clients.
Bepro Network is a web3 protocol for software development bounties, which allows organizations to offer rewards for developing specific projects or features. This can be a great way for organizations to tap into a global pool of talented developers and get high-quality work done in a streamlined decentralized protocol.
dappKit, on the other hand, is a framework that makes it easy for developers to create web3 projects using javascript and typescript. It provides a set of tools and libraries that simplify the process of building decentralized applications, making it faster and easier for web2 developers to get started with web3 development.
Each of these products has been part of our offerings at LayerX for some time, and we’re committed to continuing to develop and support them as we move forward. We believe that they have the potential to make a real impact on the web3 ecosystem, and we’re excited to see what the future holds.
In fact, we strongly believe that 2023 will be the year of Bepro Network’s wider adoption, as it continues to gain reputation, clients, developers, TVL, and a strong use case for organizations to decentralize their development.
